Yurie Ito is a dynamic and visionary cybersecurity executive with over 20 years of experience leading global cybersecurity initiatives and Cyber Public Health strategies. As the Founder and Executive Director of the CyberGreen Institute, she steers the global nonprofit dedicated to advancing the science of Cyber Public Health. An expert in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and building cross-functional teams, Ito is committed to enhancing internet safety and resilience worldwide. Her distinguished career includes leadership roles at the Japan Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Center (JPCERT/CC), the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT), the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), and the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA). Ito also serves on the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Global Future Council on the Future of Cybersecurity and the Advisory Board of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) Global Partnership for Responsible Cyber Behaviour (GP-RCB). She holds an MS from the Tufts University Fletcher School of Laws and Diplomacy.
