Mitchell Dunn is the Director, Cyber Cooperation at Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). This role includes leading DFAT’s cyber relationships in Southeast Asia, India and the Pacific. Previously, Mitchell has lead policy efforts on bilateral and multilateral space engagement, and Australia’s relationship with NATO.
Prior to joining DFAT, Mitchell worked across the Home Affairs and Infrastructure Portfolios of the Australian Government and progressed policy outcomes in areas including trade, national security and aviation. Mitchell is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an admitted lawyer in the Australian Capital Territory. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from the Australian National University.
