Irene Corpuz is recognized as a leader in GRC and cyber policy in the MENA region.

She has more than 30 years of combined experience in IT Operations, Cybersecurity,  Governance, Risk & Compliance, Project Management, and management systems audit.  She has been working in various UAE government and federal entities since 2008 as Business Analyst, Head of Information Security, and Head of PMO. 

In her current capacity as Cyber Policy Expert, she conducts international benchmarking and policy and standards development. As the Co-founder of Women in Cybersecurity Midle East (WiCSME), she is engaged in its activities that support women and girls in their professional growth. As Partnership Lead at WiCSME, she collaborates with conference organizers to increase women participation and presence as speakers, panelists, or Conference Advisory Board. 

Irene has received several local and international awards and recognition, a regular speaker, and advisor at conferences.
