We are proud to announce that the Global Cyber Capacity Building Research Agenda 2022 is now available online! Download it here
The Research Agenda as a GFCE Tool was developed last year for and by the GFCE Community, with the aim to help the cyber capacity building community to design and run more effective projects by identifying knowledge gaps and filling gaps through research. Looking back to the Research Agenda 2021, four research projects received funding and have since been finalised. The findings of the research will be uploaded on Cybil Knowledge Portal with open access for the cyber community.
In the 2022 Research Agenda, the GFCE Community identified 24 knowledge gaps on cyber topics that could be filled through research. Through a voting exercise within the GFCE Working Groups, members had the opportunity to vote on the research topic(s) that they felt should be prioritized for funding. Out of these 24 ideas, 7 ideas have been highlighted as having high priority.
The Research Agenda was presented during the GFCE Annual V-Meeting 2021. In 2022, the GFCE aims to continue finding support to fulfill these research projects.
