Open Call for Bids: Cyber Capacity Building Research Project on Public-Private Partnership best practices for combatting ransomware in support of the Counter Ransomware Initiative
Are you a consultant or researcher working on the topic of ransomware ? Would you be interested in exploring the potential of Private-Public Partnerships (PPPs) to help countries combat this challenge?
Together with U.S. Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the U.S. Department of State, and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Interior of Spain, the GFCE is inviting bids for the following research project: “Research & creation of a public-private partnership capacity building tool for combatting ransomware”.
The researcher, who is expected to have some previous cognisance of this field, will be required to find and identify tools that are able to improve the operation of PPPs and their capacity to address and combat ransomware. This work will be a contribution to the Counter Ransomware Initiative for which Spain is the chair of the PPP Working Group. Building on the final paper work and its pertinent finding and recommendations, the ultimate objective of this project will be to develop an interactive online tool (together with a web-developer) that breaks down the corresponding counter-ransomware steps, processes, resources, best practices and partnerships.
Under the GFCE coordination, the consultant will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with other researchers, stakeholders and decision makers from relevant U.S. and Spanish institutions.
