CI-ISAC International

GFCE Partner since April 2025

CI-ISAC International has a clear two-pronged mission:

  1. To provide all countries, free of charge, with the core organisational model and intellectual property required to establish and operate their own sovereign, not-for-profit, cross-sector integrated cyber information sharing and analysis centre (ISAC) and community to sustainably and effectively defend each country’s own digital economy and Critical Infrastructure (CI)
  2. Recognising that cyber threats are global, CI-ISAC International will establish and operate a new transparent global federated data-sharing model (governance and technical systems) for cyber threat information (CTI) sharing between these new data-sovereign private sector hubs within sovereign countries. The model treats all countries as equal stakeholders in both the governance and oversight of the federated model and technical CTI sharing systems. This approach aims to maximise trust (free of governments) and improve sharing to prevent incidents. Originally proposed by the World Economic Forum for the health sector in a July 2019 whitepaper, the model has now been operationalised to address existing challenges in CTI sharing. It seeks to overcome the current barriers that prevent the necessary volume and quality of CTI sharing between countries.

The organisation focuses on the following specific topics:

  1. Cyber Threat Intelligence and information sharing
  2. Cyber Capacity Building
  3. Threat Hunting
  4. Cyber Regulation
  5. Cyber Resiliency
  6. Cyber-Physical Systems
  7. Threat Intelligence Platforms
  8. International Development
