Neil Robinson

Description: Neil Robinson is a Cyber Defence Policy Officer at the Emerging Security Challenges Division of the International Staff at NATO HQ in Brussels. At NATO HQ, Neil’s work includes supporting cyber defence policy development and implementation across the Alliance. In particular, is a subject matter expert in national capability development and as such facilitates Allied self-assessment and reporting of progress regarding implementation of the Cyber Defence Pledge. Previously, Neil was a Research Leader at RAND Europe, based in Brussels and Cambridge where he led RAND Europe’s cyber security practice, conducting a number of evidence based public policy research projects for national and European clients including, inter-alia: developing a methodology to assess cyber defence capability maturity; designing evaluation frameworks for National Cyber Security Strategies; and analysing data and cyber security breach notification legislation in different countries.
